New Standard Medicine: Infrastructure, Technology and Accessibility

Naberezhnye Chelny is implementing a comprehensive program to modernize the healthcare system. The city's main tasks are to make medical care as accessible as possible for residents of every "complex," to update equipment to world standards, and to create a comfortable environment for both patients and medical staff.

Main Vectors of Development:

  • Modernization of Major Hospitals. Systematic renewal of the material and technical base of the city's leading clinics, such as City Hospital No. 5 and the Kama Children's Medical Center (KCMC), including major repairs and the purchase of new high-tech diagnostic equipment (MRI, CT).

  • Primary Care within Walking Distance. Construction of new, modern modular polyclinics in new city neighborhoods and large-scale major repairs of existing outpatient clinics to reduce the burden on central facilities.

  • Digital Medicine and Electronic Services. Implementation of the Unified State Information System in Healthcare: electronic medical records, online doctor appointments through State Services, telemedicine "doctor-patient" consultations, and electronic prescriptions.

  • Sports and Wellness Environment. Development of preventive medicine through synergy with urban improvement. Integration of active recreation, workout, and therapeutic walking trail zones in parks and embankments (for example, in Pribrezhny Park), contributing to the formation of a healthy lifestyle among residents.
