As part of the Year of National Cultures and Traditions, kindergarten No. 1 «Shatlyk» hosted the final of the city creative contest «Minem balam tatarcha söiläshä» («My child speaks Tatar»).
The goal of the contest is to introduce children to the roots of national culture within the family through the traditions and customs of the Tatar people. 32 children from 30 families took part in the contest. 16 children reached the final.
The celebration concluded with the song «Tugan tel», written to the poems of Gabdulla Tukay.
