Today, a greening event took place on the territory of the Tabeev Embankment as part of the spring clean-up campaign. Despite the rain, the planned work was completed in full.
The event was attended by the Head of the Executive Committee Farid Salakhov, deputies of the State Council and the City Council, heads and employees of the structural divisions of the Executive Committee, representatives of the Youth Parliament, as well as employees of the "Culture and Leisure Park".
The Head of the Executive Committee Farid Salakhov shared: "Early this Saturday morning, we came to the bank of the Kama River near the Pribrezhny Park to continue our good tradition of planting trees. On this site, we are planting 300 trees: larches, maples, and birches. This will undoubtedly make our city even more beautiful and greener. But most importantly, we must take care of our city. As part of the weekly clean-up campaigns, we are making it cleaner, better, and more beautiful. And trees are an important component in making our city even more well-maintained."
The result of the joint work was the planting of 300 tree seedlings. Experts note that the cloudy, cool weather and moist soil favor the survival of the plants, which increases the effectiveness of the work performed.
Currently, the city-wide clean-up campaign continues. Cleaning and landscaping of public areas, courtyard driveways, and mass recreation areas for citizens are being carried out.
