The 5th Anniversary All-Russian Competition "Young Entrepreneur – 2026" is launching in Naberezhnye Chelny, dedicated to two significant dates: the 400th anniversary of the city's founding and the 50th anniversary of the first KAMAZ truck production.
Over four years of the project's implementation, significant results have been achieved: more than 60 children have received free training, and the total amount of educational grants provided has reached 3,900,000 rubles. The key task of the competition is to give talented teenagers the opportunity to study entrepreneurship for free, develop their own ideas, and gain practical experience in creating projects and startups.
Students of grades 7–11 aged 12 to 18 are invited to participate, and participation in the competition is completely free. In 2026, participants will be able to present projects in ten current categories. Among them are AI solutions, environmental startups, media and blogging, design and IT projects, health and sports initiatives, smart technologies for the city, educational projects, handmade and crafts, social projects, as well as virtual game development.
The competition program includes several stages. Thus, applications are accepted until May 15, and a free online intensive will be organized for participants from May 11 to 14. Then, from May 15 to 17, contestants will have to prepare video presentations of their projects, after which a public vote will be held from May 18 to 19. The results will be announced on May 19, and the in-person project defense is scheduled for May 21 in Naberezhnye Chelny, with an online format provided for non-resident participants. The winners of the competition will receive grants for training at the Business Academy, valuable prizes, and further support in the development of their projects.
The organizers particularly emphasize that special preparation from schools is not required, as the competition team takes on all organizational and educational work. The task of educational institutions is only to inform students, teachers, and parents about the opportunity to participate.
The project is implemented annually with the support of the Education Department, the Department of Economic Development and Entrepreneurship, as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the city. Its main goal is the development of entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, and career guidance for schoolchildren.
