Head of the Executive Committee Farid Salakhov and Head of the Komsomolsky district Lenar Akhmetzyanov visited Honorary Citizen of the city and Great Patriotic War participant Muftakh Ansapovich Nurtdinov. Muftakh Ansapovich traditionally greeted the guests personally at his doorstep.
A particularly touching moment of the visit was meeting with students from primary school No. 39 – the children sang songs for the veteran, and the veteran, who also loves to sing, gladly sang along and thanked the young generation. The front-line soldier shared memories of the war years, spoke about his fellow soldiers, and wished the children peace and kindness.
This year, on July 24, Muftakh Ansapovich is preparing to celebrate his centenary.
Muftakh Nurtdinov was born in the village of Zirekle, Sharansky District, Republic of Bashkortostan. In 1941, when the war began, as a 15-year-old teenager, he began working on a collective farm. In November 1943, he was drafted to the front, fought in an infantry regiment, and participated in the liberation of Romania, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, and Austria.
After the war, for more than 20 years, Muftakh Ansapovich worked as a shift bus driver, transporting drillers to work. In 1973, he arrived in Naberezhnye Chelny upon a call to build КАМАЗ. Here he worked as an excavator operator at SUM-1 of "Kamgesenergostroy", dug foundation pits for future facilities, including for the КАМАЗ Thermal Power Plant, and laid trenches for the pipelines of our city.
Together with his wife, they raised three children; Muftakh Ansapovich has 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Among the veteran's awards are the medals "For Courage", "Patriotic War II degree", "For the liberation of Germany", "For Labor Valor", and "For the liberation of Budapest".
The city thanks Muftakh Ansapovich for his feat, his labor, and the example he sets for all of us.
