Following the parade, a solemn flower-laying ceremony took place at the Motherland Monument as part of the events dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of the city Nail Magdeev, General Director of PJSC КАМАЗ Sergey Kogogin, Deputy of the State Duma of Russia Alfiya Kogogina, and Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Svetlana Zakharova.
On behalf of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny and the City Council of Veterans, a wreath was laid by Farid Salakhov. Their presence became a symbol of the continuity of generations of defenders of the Fatherland and a reminder that the traditions of courage and heroism of Russian soldiers continue today.
The ceremony was accompanied by a minute of silence in memory of those who died during the war.
Representatives of public organizations, youth movements, and city residents also took part in the event. The Motherland Monument remains one of the city's significant symbols and a place where residents traditionally gather to honor the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
