The Mayor of the city commented on the results of his trip to Lysychansk, where hot meals are provided to residents of the affected city.

"Lysychansk has been assigned to the Republic of Tatarstan by the decision of the country's leadership. And this is no coincidence: we know what battles took place in this city. Naberezhnye Chelny residents, as responsible people, do not stand aside; a group of our volunteers led by Rustam Gatin has been working for more than two months to organize hot free meals for more than 5,000 residents of Lysychansk. The city is in a difficult situation, with interruptions in water and energy supply. Serious work is needed to restore the city, and our city is taking part in this. More than 150,000 various items have been sent from Naberezhnye Chelny: food, warm clothing, and children's items.

Our moral and material support is important and necessary. We will continue this work with other municipalities. We have an internal need to help people who are in such a situation," he noted.

The head of the city noted that the city's support for the families of the mobilized will continue: providing free meals in schools, visiting kindergartens and clubs. The mayor has made a decision to provide a one-time payment to women giving birth. In total, there are 28 expectant mothers registered in Naberezhnye Chelny who are wives of mobilized men. Two families have been blessed with babies - a boy and a girl were born. The day before, Nail Magdeyev attended the naming ceremony of a newborn from Chelny.

The sending of humanitarian and patronage aid will continue: a third humanitarian shipment is being prepared for the residents of the affected city, as well as patronage aid for the active unit where our soldiers are serving.
