The traditional Watch of Memory began at 9 a.m. at the Eternal Flame of the "Rodina-Mat" memorial complex. Before the start of the Victory Day parade, the honorary guard is being kept by the leaders of municipal organizations and enterprises of Naberezhnye Chelny.
The Watch of Memory was opened by the heads of the two city districts: Fidaris Khabibullin and Ayrat Khusnullin. They were followed by deputy heads of the Executive Committee Ilgizar Salimkhanov and Mansur Fattakhov, as well as deputies of the City Council: Sergey Khlebnikov, Asya Kurganaeva, Andrey Elantsev, Vitaly Agapov, Vadim Matyushin, Albert Petrov, Ivan Kuzmin, Vladimir Melnikov, Ruslan Mustafin, Artem Kapustin, Rezeda Mavzyutova, Abdulkhak Batyushov, Rail Minegaliev, Marsel Tukhvatullin, Ayrat Zaynullin, Akhnyaf Shagivaliev, Kirill Puzyrkov, Igor Malyasyov and Timur Nusratov.
Then the honorary mission was taken over by representatives of law enforcement agencies and supervisory bodies, including Aleksandr Evgrafov and Abuzar Nugumanov.
They were replaced by the deputy head of the municipality Irina Sagidullina and the head of the Executive Committee Farid Salakhov. This sacred mission was also performed by the General Director of PAO "КАМАЗ" Sergey Kogogin and the Commissioner for Children's Rights in Tatarstan Svetlana Zakharova.
The Watch of Memory before the start of the Victory Day parade was concluded by the Mayor of the city Nail Magdeev and State Duma deputy Alfiya Kogogina.
