On the eve of May 9, a series of patriotic events started at the institution. All age groups joined the all-Russian campaigns "Victory Windows", "Immortal Regiment" and "Soldier's Porch".
Pupils of the preparatory groups visited the "Motherland" monument and laid flowers at the Eternal Flame. Children of the senior group got acquainted with the museum exposition at School No. 44.
The culmination of the festive program was the musical event "Victory Day". Pupils of the senior and preparatory groups performed songs and dances of the war years, and read poems about the Victory. At the end of the celebration, the children tasted soldier's porridge.
The institution's educators note that the patriotic education of preschoolers fosters respect for historical memory.
