The international historical event "Victory Dictation" took place at the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University. The event was attended by the mother of Hero of Russia Sergey Chebnev, Olga Konstantinovna Chebneva, the university rector Alfinur Galiakberova, and State Duma Deputy of the Russian Federation Alfiya Kogogina.

For Olga Konstantinovna, this was her first experience participating in such an event. She shared that her father was a participant in the Great Patriotic War, fought near Smolensk, was wounded, and holds the Order of Glory and the Medal "For Courage": "My father, like many others, did not like to talk about the war. My son Serezha followed in his footsteps. He said that his duty was to defend the Motherland, just like his grandfather. I dedicate this experience to my father and son."

The international historical dictation on the events of the Great Patriotic War was held for the eighth time. In 2026, the campaign is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War and the 130th anniversary of the birth of Marshal Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov. A separate part of the tasks touched upon the events of the special military operation.

It is worth noting that the NGPU venue is distinguished by being one of the youngest and most numerous. "Victory Dictation" was written by students of all years from both the Industrial Pedagogical College and the pedagogical university itself.

Participants were offered 25 questions and 45 minutes to answer. The organizers of the campaign were the "United Russia" party, the Russian Historical Society, the Russian Military Historical Society, and "Victory Volunteers" with the support of Rosobrnadzor, Rossotrudnichestvo, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.

Winners are determined at the federal and regional levels among those who scored the maximum points. If several people have the maximum result, the winners are chosen by a random number generator. Additional criteria are taken into account, such as activity in the "Historical Memory" project, completion of practice tests on the campaign website, and the promotion of historical truth in the region.

Winners can expect valuable prizes, honorary diplomas, and, most importantly, an invitation to the Victory Parade on May 9th on Red Square in Moscow.
