On May 14 and 15, the Ayaz Gilyazov Tatar Drama Theatre will host the premiere performances of the play "Ptychka" (12+)—a comedy based on Leonid Bykov's film "Zaychik" (The Little Hare).
The play tells the story of the protagonist's transformation—a modest man who, after receiving a medical prognosis that he has only a month to live, radically changes his behavior and attitude toward others. The production addresses issues of personal transformation, conscious choice, and the reevaluation of life priorities.
According to the director's vision, the play combines comedic elements with dramatic accents, demonstrating how extreme circumstances can reveal hidden reserves within a person. The performance is intended for an adult audience and encourages reflection on questions regarding the meaning of life and the value of every day.
The performance will be held in the Tatar language with simultaneous translation into Russian (headphones will be provided in the theatre lobby).
