Fanfares, drill formations, and battle reconstructions – this is how the anniversary of the Great Victory was celebrated at the Prikrezhny Park Maidan in the large-scale performance "Glory shall not fade. The memory shall live!", which became a symbol of the unity of generations.

Students, pupils of cadet and general education schools, city creative groups, combat veterans, and volunteers of the special military operation took part in the performance.

The audience witnessed an emotional journey through the pages of military history: from the peaceful morning of June 22, 1941, to the Victory fireworks in Berlin. The program included vocal and drill compositions, choreographic sketches, and the re-enactment of key battles – the defense of Brest, the Battle of Moscow, the battles of Stalingrad and Kursk, as well as touching scenes about life on the home front and the feat of the poet Musa Jalil.

The Mayor Nail Magdeev addressed the townspeople with a welcoming speech:

“On this day, we bow our heads before the selflessness, courage, and great feat of the Soviet soldier. Before those who fought the enemy on the battlefield, who forged Victory on the home front, who healed and warmed wounded fighters with heartfelt care, who took in the evacuated. We bow our heads before the prisoners of concentration camps, the widows of fallen soldiers, the 'children of war' – all those whose youth and maturity were burned in the flames of that terrible war. Eternal memory to the fallen – the 27 million of our fellow citizens who died for the freedom and independence of the Motherland.

Our fathers and grandfathers won the most terrible war and rebuilt the country. It was the generation of victors that built the world's largest automobile plant – КАМАЗ, which became a symbol of labor valor and the power of our city. We pledge to cherish the memory of the Soviet soldier's feat and pass it on to our children and grandchildren. As long as we remember, we are strong. As long as we keep the truth, we are united.

Today, the country is going through difficult times again. Our military personnel are performing combat missions with honor and dignity. We see how courage, a sense of duty, and love for the Motherland are once again becoming the pillar of Russian society. The participants of the special military operation are the direct heirs of the great Victory. They stand for peace, truth, and the Motherland.

Dear residents and guests of the city! Happy Great Victory Day! This day will live in our hearts forever. On this solemn day, I sincerely wish everyone good health, peace, and prosperity.”

The honorary guests of the event were the Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alfiya Kogogina and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko.

Together with the mayor, they took part in the solemn ceremony of awarding five servicemen with state awards for the courage and bravery shown in the performance of military duty.

The climax of the program was the “Soldier's Porridge” composition, symbolizing front-line brotherhood and the unity of generations. The celebration concluded with the performance of the legendary song “Victory Day” by all participants, the All-Russian “Minute of Silence” campaign, a laser show, and festive fireworks.

The event became a symbol of unity, gratitude, and continuity of generations, reminding everyone: the glory shall not fade, the memory shall live!
