Today, a Victory Parade dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the Soviet people's triumph in the Great Patriotic War took place in Naberezhnye Chelny near the «Rodina-Mat» (Motherland) memorial complex.
Military Commissar of the Central and Avtozavodsky districts Rashid Ilyasov gave the command to bring out the banners and start the solemn parade march.
The march was led by a group of majorettes from the parade-drill unit of Cadet School No. 82 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Ildar Mannanov. Employees of the 15th Fire and Rescue Squad of the Federal Fire Service for city protection traditionally participated in the festive parade.
Activists of the Regional Public Organization of Border Guard Veterans, participants of the Special Military Operation, and combat veterans from the Republic of Tatarstan, the «Bars» assault group, marched in the parade formation.
A parade unit of internationalist warriors who served in the Afghanistan war and local conflicts, decorated with combat awards, marched in front of the grandstands wearing 1983-style uniforms.
Fighters of the «Tayfun» special forces detachment and the «SKORPION» rapid response unit marched briskly, as well as the «Yunarmia», represented by students of schools No. 30, 42, and 84 – winners and prize-winners of All-Russian and republican competitions.
Next, cadets, students of cadet schools No. 47 and No. 82, cadets of the school named after Nikita Kaimanov and «Kalkan», participants of the «Forpost» youth center for public order protection, as well as the «Kaskad» military-patriotic unit, marched in front of the holiday guests.
Following them were students from the Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University, the Pedagogical College, the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of KFU, the Naberezhnye Chelny branch of KNITU-KAI, the Naberezhnye Chelny Technological College, the Kama State Automotive Mechanical College, the Kama Construction College, the Naberezhnye Chelny branch of TISBI, the Potashev Technical College, and the Naberezhnye Chelny Medical College.
Behind them marched the winners of the municipal stage of the All-Russian military-patriotic game «Zarnitsa 2.0», participants of the Movement of the First, activists of the «Serve the Fatherland» thematic club, chairmen of the Councils of the First of the city's schools and colleges, as well as «Victory Volunteers».
The pedestrian part was concluded by a combined orchestra of wind and percussion instruments from Cadet School No. 82, children's music schools No. 3, No. 6, and the Naberezhnye Chelny College of Arts.
The parade march was continued by the «Tulpar» equestrian sports school named after Rashit Khamadeev.
To the sounds of a solemn march, military equipment from the Great Patriotic War appeared in the parade formation. Each vehicle carried Victory banners and portraits of Soviet commanders. The column of historical artifacts was led by M-72 motorcycles with machine guns.
The Soviet cargo vehicle GAZ AA, popularly known as the «Polutorka». These vehicles transported food across the ice of Lake Ladoga, along that very Road of Life.
On the march is the GAZ-63, a Soviet truck used during the Great Patriotic War as an all-wheel-drive army vehicle.
The GAZ 67, a Soviet all-wheel-drive passenger car, which is considered the first «jeep» in the USSR, drove proudly along the road. The GAZ-69, which was actively used in the army, industry, and agriculture, also participated in the parade.
And next is its brother from America, the Willis MB, supplied to the USSR under Lend-Lease. There is a 45mm cannon on the trailer.
Equipment manufactured in Naberezhnye Chelny moved in a column. Armored vehicles are successfully used in the special military operation zone, saving the lives of fighters. The column was led by the «Patrul», developed by the Asteis company.
Behind it is the well-known KAMAZ-5350, intended for transporting personnel and cargo. Following it is the ZASpN «Titan».
In conclusion, trucks from PAO KAMAZ with armored cabs traditionally appear. For example, the all-wheel-drive armored multipurpose vehicle KAMAZ-5385. Its advantages are ballistic protection of personnel and mine protection, combat-resistant wheels that ensure the ability to move in case of combat damage, and the possibility of installing anti-cumulative screens.
In front of the grandstands are the training vehicles KAMAZ-4350 and KAMAZ-43114 of the Naberezhnye Chelny DOSAAF driving school. The parade column is closed by a vehicle from the KAMAZ-master team.
