On the eve of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the traditional patriotic campaign “Blue Tram – Towards Victory” has launched in Naberezhnye Chelny. It was organized by the Central District Administration and MUP “Gorodskoy Transport”.
The bright themed tram has once again entered city routes to create a special festive mood for passengers and remind them of the great feat of the people. The main guests of the trip were members of the Central District veteran choir “Podsnezhnik”. Their voices, echoing in the carriage, filled the journey with warmth and sincerity: they performed beloved wartime songs that the whole country knows and sings for the residents and guests of the city.
The older generation was joined by young Timurites from School No. 46 named after Order of Courage recipient Dmitry Badretdinov. The students not only helped the veterans but also actively participated in congratulating the passengers. During the exciting journey through the city streets, the schoolchildren handed out the symbol of Victory – St. George ribbons – to everyone who boarded.
The “Blue Tram” campaign has served for many years as a reminder of the connection between generations, respect for history, and the great joy that Victory brought. Residents of Naberezhnye Chelny warmly welcomed the unusual route, happily singing along with the veterans and thanking the organizers for the opportunity to touch living history right on public transport.
