A project to create chess zones in schools has been launched in Naberezhnye Chelny. The first of them opened today in Pushkin Alley No. 78. It should be noted that playgrounds are organized within the framework of the national project "Education". The solemn event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Tatyana Larionova, Deputy Head of the municipal formation of Naberezhnye Chelny Irina Sagidullina, Head of the Executive Committee Farid Salakhov.
Before the start of the ceremony, the guests were presented with a thematic exhibition in the style of the novel "Harry Potter", telling about the achievements of the students, including robotics.
"We have taken the initiative to create chess zones and chess classes in all educational institutions. So that all our children, regardless of whether they are in the first or 11th grade, can play chess, analyze, think, reason, and win. Tatyana Larionova noted that 56 such chess zones should be created in Naberezhnye Chelny by the beginning of the next academic year, 896 of them are planned to be launched in the republic.
