The Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny, Nail Magdeev, inspected large-capacity buses, which were donated to the city by agreement with the Moscow government. All buses will undergo scheduled maintenance and after receiving all the necessary documents, the LiAZs will enter the routes.
"At the end of December 2020, we received the buses for safe storage. Currently, the paperwork for the right to operate the received equipment is being completed. Bus diagnostics and maintenance are also carried out. We expect that by the end of February we will have all the necessary documentation in our hands to put the transport on the line," Ilya Zuev, first deputy head of the city's executive committee, reported to the mayor.
The mayor asked how the repair and maintenance of buses was going, inspected the external condition of the transport, and also went into the salon and talked with the drivers.
"As a mechanical engineer with a basic specialty, I believe that the buses that we are preparing to launch on the routes are in good condition. However, as well as MAZES already running in the city," Nail Magdeev emphasized after the inspection.
According to the mayor, 27 of the 40 buses have already passed a scheduled technical inspection: "We plan that by the beginning of March buses will start running in Naberezhnye Chelny," he said.Nail Magdeev. – We will monitor the situation that is developing. If there are not enough buses, we will additionally set the task of further increasing the number of buses on the line. Let's see what people will choose: small buses, medium buses, large buses.
