The Pension Fund Management reminds that families who have not yet received December payments in the amount of 5,000 rubles for children under 8 years old must apply for a lump sum payment by March 31 of this year inclusive. There will be no possibility of applying for a lump sum payment after March 31. You can apply on the Public Services portal or in person at the Pension Fund's customer service. Recall, in accordance with the presidential decree, a one-time payment is due to parents, adoptive parents, guardians and guardians of children up to and including 7 years old, and amounts to 5,000 rubles per child in the family. For all families who received a monthly payment for children under 3 years of age or a lump sum payment for children from 3 to 16 years of age in 2020, the Pension Fund provided an additional payment automatically in December.
However, if a child appeared in the family after July 1, 2020, or the parents did not apply for any of the payments for children provided by the Pension Fund during the year, you must apply yourself. Also, an application for payment must be submitted, including for children born after the decree was issued, that is, from December 18, 2020.
To do this, parents must indicate in the application the details of each child's birth certificate and the details of the bank account to which the funds will be transferred. You will also need an application if the parents who have already received payments for their children have had their bank account closed.
