The
L'arte del arco festival is held annually in Tatarstan in March. It
is conducted by the Kazan Chamber Orchestra La Primavera under the direction of
Rustem Abyazov.
The IX International L'arte del arco Festival returns to Naberezhnye Chelny after restrictions due to the pandemic.
The program of the ninth L'arte del arco festival was formed taking into account the restrictions that the COVID-19 pandemic still dictates. This year, the playbill contains only the names of Russian performers, with the exception of Mexican violinist Alfredo. Reyes Logunov.
"For obvious reasons , we did not dare to invite musicians from other countries this year, but we do not consider the lack of extensive geography in the festival poster to be a problem. All the soloists who will come to us are rightfully considered the best – they are well known all over the world, and the Russian string and bow school is still appreciated," said the artistic director of the festival and the La Primavera orchestra.Rustem Abyazov.
Hayk Kazazyan (violin, Russia) and Boris Andrianov (cello, Russia) will come to Naberezhnye Chelny for the festival concert, which will take place on March 19 in the Organ Hall.
The program includes works by Tchaikovsky, Wieniawski, Saint-Saens and Alexey Shor, who became the composer-in-residence at L'arte del arco. His works are performed by many leading musicians. His compositions are performed at the Gramophone Award ceremony and recorded on Warner discs. Classics, Decca and Sony. Concerts with the composer's works were broadcast on TV channels Medici.TV , Mezzo and Euronews. Some works will be performed for the first time in Naberezhnye Chelny.
"Music premieres are a prerequisite for our festival. In its history, there have been concerts, the program of which consisted of premieres in full. We are glad that they will be heard not only in Kazan, but also in Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny," says Rustem Abyazov.
The invited soloists will give free master classes for young musicians. The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
