The opening of the School's Hope chess zone took place today at Secondary School No. 18. The event was attended by a deputy of the City CouncilEduard Fattakhov, who acted as a financial partner for the creation of a chess zone in this educational institution.
In Naberezhnye Chelny, a project to create chess zones in schools was launched this year on the initiative of the regional branch of the All-Russian political Party UNITED RUSSIA. By the beginning of the next academic year, 56 similar chess zones should be created in Naberezhnye Chelny schools.
During the meeting, City Council deputy Eduard Fattakhov awarded the winners of the republican chess tournament dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the formation of the regional branch of the public organization Union of Pensioners of Russia.
