Residents of Tatarstan are invited to join the search for errors in names and inscriptions on signs and information plates in the Tatar language. A contest has been announced in the republic aimed at identifying inaccuracies in the spelling or translation of words in the Tatar language.
Anyone registered on the public services portal will be able to take part in the competition, which runs from February 1 to September 1. The competition is held on the initiative of the Presidential Commission. RT on the preservation and development of the Tatar language.
On the portal of Public Services, in the section "People's Control" there is a category "Errors in names and inscriptions. You can leave a notification there with photos of the full signboard, which contains errors. Defects can be taken into account on information plates, topographic signs, road signs or on full houses of residential buildings.
In the notification, you must specify a photo where you can see which organization the sign belongs to. You also need to specify the address where it is located.
The winners will be the residents who send the most error messages. The organizers will determine 10 winners.
The main goal of the contest is to preserve and popularize the Tatar language, to draw the attention of residents of the republic to the problem of errors in names and inscriptions on signs, information plates, topographic signs, road signs and sold–out houses in the Tatar language.
