The grand opening of the intermuseum project "Revived crafts of the Tuklya family" ("Tuklya vorshudys ul. kiuzhes") took place in the great hall of the Naberezhnye Chelny Art Gallery as part of the days of Udmurt culture in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, one of the leading Craft Houses of the Udmurt Republic, Uzey-Tuklinsky House of Crafts.

The guests were greeted by Rumil Karamiev, Head of the Department of Culture of the Executive Committee of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, Lily of the Valley Ishalina, Director of the municipal autonomous cultural institution of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny "House of Friendship of Peoples of the Spring", Chairman of the National Cultural Society of Udmurts in the city of Naberezhnye ChelnyValentina Belyk.

The Uzey-Tuklin House of Crafts is a kind of cradle for the preservation and development of folk art and culture of the Udmurt Republic. Traditional crafts such as turning, carpentry, cooperage, weaving, patchwork mosaic, sewing, birch bark processing, tapestry, art painting, felt, artistic ceramics, Udmurt folk instruments, modern costume are preserved and developed here. The masters worthily present their work at various exhibitions and festivals.

The basis of the creative activity of the House of Crafts is Udmurt mythology and traditions associated with folk customs and beliefs. Many of the products were created on the basis of ethnographic expeditions in the Uvinsky district.

People's Artist of the Udmurt Republic, Honored Worker of Culture of the Udmurt Republic, director of the Uzey-Tuklin House of Crafts at the Uvinsky Historical and Art Museum told about the features of the exhibition.Gennady Sidorov.

The atmosphere of the national holiday was created by the soloists of the Udmurt folklore ensemble "Zardon" in Naberezhnye Chelny, artistic director Valentina Belykh

The exhibition features more than 150 works. The exhibition will run until April 11.
