The
Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny this year received ten
official appeals from citizens regarding heating charges. This was
announced today during a press conference by the first deputy head.
Ilya Zuev of the Executive Committee.
He noted that as a result of the investigation, a house was identified in which only three of the six entrances were inhabited
. "Accordingly,
an error was found in the calculations, where the tenants were charged excessive amounts. It
has been fixed on all three entrances. These are about 80 apartments.
A recalculation will be made for all of them. One person applied, but since we are dealing with the whole
house, the recalculation will be done for everyone," Ilya Zuev said.
In addition, it was said that the average daily air temperature in December was - 10.7. In January, there was a decrease to - 11.5. "Heat output by large management companies in January is 6.5% higher on average than in December," stated Ilya Zuev.
He also noted that the city is not going to abandon garbage chutes. It was said that "there is no reason to worry. Such an initiative should come from the residents themselves, if they have a need to abandon garbage chutes."
