The open winter republican karting competitions among children, boys and youth for the KAMAZ-Master team Cup are being held in Naberezhnye Chelny. The grand opening of the competition took place today at the cartodrome. Oleg Kukharenko.
The event was attended by Nail Magdeev, Mayor of the city, Vladimir Chagin, head of the KAMAZ-master team, Radiy Kadikov, head of the traffic police of the city, and the winners of the rally marathon The Dakar.

Competitions have already become a good tradition and are one of the most popular among karting enthusiasts not only in Tatarstan, but also in neighboring regions. Athletes from Ryazan, Perm, Yoshkar-Ola, Sarapul, Gus-Khrustalny, Izhevsk, Kovrov, and various settlements of Tatarstan showed up for the race.
Traditionally, the competitions are held on an 860-meter-long ice track, where there are both straight high-speed sections and sharp turns. The track allows the participants to show their piloting skills and demonstrate a beautiful fight for the title of the fastest pilot.
Competitions are held in eight classes, where the youngest participants are only 6 years old. For two days, the best will be determined based on the results of the qualifying and final races – 4 classes each day.
