Every year, young residents of Naberezhnye Chelny attract grants totaling up to 10 million rubles by participating in federal and regional competitions. Stories of ideas changing the youth community inspire the creation of new social projects.
In 2019 and 2020, Dmitry Kolesnikov, a resident of Naberezhnye Chelny, won two grants for the Mediasphere press center project for a total of 500,000 rubles. The project develops journalism skills that teenagers will later put into practice.
Another project for teenagers is the "Point of Growth", created by Ganiev Basyir on the basis of the Metro cultural and educational platform . The young man received a grant in the amount of 1.1 million rubles. Teenagers who find themselves in a difficult life situation are socialized through woodworking classes.
On March 9, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs announced the start of accepting applications from individuals aged 14 to 30 years and educational institutions of higher education for the All-Russian Youth Project Competition.
Submitting an application for the competition is a responsible procedure. Meetings with experts will be organized especially for the youth of Naberezhnye Chelny, who are ready to change their city for the better. They include the winners of the previous years' competition. They will tell you how to write a project for a grant correctly, and they will analyze the competition application with each participant personally.
Dates of the seminar:
Stage 1 – introductory lecture (March 22);
Stage 2 – elaboration of personal projects of the participants (March 22, 24, 26).

Acceptance of applications for the competition for educational organizations will end on April 7 at 14:00 Moscow time, for individuals – at 15:00 Moscow time.
