At Nizhny Novgorod State Pedagogical University named after Kozma Minin hosted the semi-finals of the professional competition "Teacher of the Future. Students", which is part of the presidential platform "Russia is a country of opportunities". The competitive tests took place over three days from March 9th to 11th.
From the Volga Federal District, 100 students who showed the best results at the distance testing stage received an invitation to the semi-finals of the competition. 18 participants were announced from the Republic of Tatarstan, eight of them were students of Naberezhnye Chelny Pedagogical University.
At the face-to-face competitive competitions, participants had to complete the tasks "Pedagogical reference point", "Designing the school of the future" and "Solving pedagogical cases". All of them were aimed at identifying the professional and personal qualities of the teacher, as well as skills that can improve the effectiveness of the teacher. Naberezhnye Chelny students showed their methodological, psychological and pedagogical knowledge and demonstrated teamwork skills at a high level. Seven people received a ticket to the finals from the Republic of Tatarstan, four of them were students of NGPU: Evgeny Yarovikov (Faculty of History and Geography), Chulpan Gazizova (Faculty of Philology), Alina Shaikhattarova (Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology), Timur Karpov (Faculty of History and Geography).
The final of the competition will be held in Sochi in April this year.
