After the newborn child is registered with the registry office, information about the state registration of birth is automatically transmitted to the FIU, on the basis of which an individual personal account with an insurance number is opened for the child.
The child's individual personal account number (SNILS) is reflected in the mother's personal account on the unified portal of public services (gosuslugi.ru ), the plastic card is no longer issued.
This service is available to those parents who are registered on the Public Services Portal. To promptly receive a notification about the issued SNILS by e-mail or SMS, you must select the appropriate settings in your personal account.
Please note that the notification of the child's registration will be received provided that the mother's personal data specified in the personal account of the public services portal and the data received by the FIU from the registry Office clearly match. Thus, if, for example, a woman changed her last name, but did not update the data on the public services portal, information about the child's SNILS may not be reflected in her personal account.
