The development of a draft layout and a land surveying project in the residential area of Zamelekesye regarding the construction of tram tracks was considered today at a meeting of the commission on land use and development in Naberezhnye Chelny. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Executive Committee, Farid Salakhov.
Rashid Shamsudinov, General Director of Electric Transport, presented a project for the construction of tram lines: "To date, a project has been developed for the planning and surveying of a land plot for a new tram line running along Sarmanovsky Trakt Street, then along Fomenko Avenue to Kazansky Avenue, with access to Musa Jalil Avenue."
The length of the branch in one direction will be 13 km. The launch of the tram line involves the construction of a bridge over the river Melekeska, one traction substation, one service station, a revolving ring, 31 level crossings, 28 bus shelters.
"According to the new tram line, it is planned to organize three tram routes with an interval of six minutes, which will provide residents of the Zamelekesya district , the village of ZYAB with transport accessibility to Sidorovka, the village of HPP and the New City. The planned volume of transportation is 2-2.5 million passengers per year," Rashid Shamsudinov said. It should be noted that today Electric Transport transports about 20 million passengers per year.
Also, due to the increased intensity and development of the Zamelekesye microdistrict, it is planned to reconstruct the highway along Gosteva Street. The draft layout and the project of surveying the territory for the facility were also considered at the meeting. Thus, in the section from Aerodromnaya Street to Batenchuk Street, it is planned to expand the street to four lanes with a dividing strip, build a bridge crossing over the Melekeska River, and rebuild engineering networks entering the construction area.
