In Naberezhnye Chelny, a compensation payment of 1,200 rubles was awarded to more than 6,000 pensioners over the age of 80, people in need of constant outside care at the conclusion of a medical institution and the disabled of group 1.
According to the legislation, able-bodied citizens who do not work, do not receive a pension or unemployment benefits, are students or full-time students act as caregivers. Family relations and cohabitation do not matter.
The compensation payment is assigned from the month in which the 80-year-old's caregiver applied for her appointment, and is paid to the pensioner along with the pension assigned to him. An elderly person independently pays off the funds received with the citizen who takes care of him.
For a person who takes care of an elderly person, the periods of care are counted in the length of service and pension coefficients are calculated (1.8 for each full year of care), which makes it possible to form pension rights to receive an insurance pension in the future.
To apply for compensation payments for the care of a citizen over 80 years of age, the FIU must submit an application from the citizen who will provide care. At the same time, it is more convenient and easier to submit it electronically using the following algorithm:

After filling out the information about the caregiver step by step, followed by confirmation in the appropriate step, form an application and send it to the FIU.
The application of the caregiver, with all necessary documents attached to it, is considered within 10 days. working days from the date of his admission.
