The grand opening of the Children's and Youth Book Week took place in the Central Library today. In the lobby, visitors were greeted and attracted by a beautiful installation, which became a photo zone for everyone who wanted to capture themselves on this day. The festival was opened by a festival called "Reading City". The theatrical program with fairy-tale characters also involved the guests of the library in the action. Beautiful artistic children's performances plus interactive actions of the audience of the theatrical performance created a unique atmosphere of miracles and magic.
From 12:00 p.m., playgrounds were opened where the youngest could watch the puppet theater "Old Wives' Tales for the Night." High school students and students competed in an online literary duel based on the work of Anton Chekhov. The meeting was held on the Zoom platform between readers of the cities of Naberezhnye Chelny and Zainsk.
The educational and entertainment program "The Writer's Anniversary is a holiday for the reader" introduced elementary school children to the work of Agnia Barto. Both schoolchildren and older people came to the master class "Traps of dreams with their own hands" based on Joyce's fairy tales. A meeting with poet Elmira Yalilova was interesting for young people, and the quest "Moriarty for Sherlock Holmes" surprised high school students.
The Children's and Youth Book Week in Naberezhnye Chelny will delight readers with various events and celebrations throughout the week.
