Deputies of Naberezhnye Chelny held a joint meeting of five permanent commissions of the City Advice. The meeting was opened by the mayor Nail Magdeev. In his welcoming speech, he noted the importance of organizing vaccination in enterprises with numerous labor collectives.
A report on the results of the municipality's activities in 2020 was made by Head of the Executive Committee Farid Salakhov. He noted that in Naberezhnye Chelny, despite the objective reasons related to the pandemic, large-scale socially significant projects were implemented in 2020. "This was made possible thanks to the fruitful work of all enterprises and organizations in the city, as well as the support provided to us by the Governments of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tatarstan and the President of the Republic Tatarstan Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov," he stressed, paying special attention to the development of the economy.
Thus, the volume of shipped products in 2020
amounted to over 418 billion rubles, with
an industrial production index of 101%.
The city-forming enterprise KAMAZ contributes a significant share to the development of the economy. They shipped products worth 157.7 billion rubles, produced over
36.5 thousand trucks. We have increased our volumes and made a significant contribution to the economy
and other industrial enterprises.
According to the results of last year, the volume of investments is projected at 70 billion rubles. One of the achievements is that the city has become a leader in attracting financial support for SMEs.
The business sector makes a significant contribution to the economy. Today, it forms a third
of the city's economy and budget.
In
January of this year, Naberezhnye Chelny celebrated 5 years since it was awarded the status
of a territory of advanced socio-economic development.
The positive dynamics is largely due to the work of industrial parks. There are only 12 of them.
An important achievement in 2020 was wage growth. Despite all the economic difficulties, following the results of 11 months, the average monthly salary at large and medium-sized enterprises increased by 4.5% and amounted to 40 thousand 804 rubles .
The city's participation in federal and national
programs has become a serious support, primarily for
construction industry enterprises.
Two apartment buildings in 63 buildings have been built under the social mortgage program. the neighborhood. Housing conditions have improved 594 families of public sector workers, young and large families, as well as employees of enterprises investing in construction.
Last year, the problem of defrauded shareholders was completely solved. Eurostyle Group completed the construction of apartment building 65/10, and Profit Group – 65/06. Three kindergartens have been built as part of the national Demography project under the federal program "Creating new places for children under the age
of three."
Special attention was paid to cultural institutions. The Ayaz Gilyazov Tatar Drama Theater appeared, worth 1 billion 149 million rubles. Major repairs of the Recreation center "Energetik", "Children's School of Theater Arts" and "Children's Music School No. 6 named after Salikha Saidasheva".
In addition, four schools, five kindergartens, the Nur and Shatlyk youth centers, the Rovesnik youth club, and others have been overhauled. Major repairs of apartment buildings and the main sewer system are ongoing.
One of the priority programs of 2020 was the "Our

Urban roads and roads in the industrial zone have been repaired for more than 2 billion rubles. Eliminated 14 traffic accident sites, 5 potentially dangerous areas, 4 danger zones and 4 places of traffic accidents with deaths.
Providing residents with comfortable transportation by public transport has become an important issue of the past year. Passenger traffic, which dropped to a record low of 30% during the pandemic, is gradually recovering and reaching the level of previous years.
Traditionally, special attention in Naberezhnye Chelny is paid to the field of education. There are 78 educational institutions in the city where students study 65,298 children. The pandemic has placed a special burden on medical institutions and healthcare workers. Three hospitals have been redesigned to treat patients with the new coronavirus infection. At the end of the speech, Farid
Salakhov spoke about working with citizens' appeals and briefly outlined plans for
the current year. "Dear Nail Gambarovich, dear deputies, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you
for your joint work, which allows us to take effective measures to solve
vital problems of the population and create comfortable living conditions for residents
of Naberezhnye Chelny," he thanked.
