On the eve of the Day of Public Service Workers and Housing and Communal Services , a festive event was held at the Palace of Celebrations, during which 32 housing and communal services workers were awarded with state and city awards.

"I am especially pleased to welcome my colleagues today on the eve of our professional holiday – the Day of Housing and Communal Services Workers. For many years I had the honor to work in the housing and communal services sector and deal with everyday issues of urban life. I know firsthand, but in practice, what the work of a communal complex is, especially such a large industrial center of the country, which is our city.
Naberezhnye Chelny is not only a major industrial center of the Russian Federation – the center of automotive industry, energy, food processing, construction, but it is also a powerful sphere of housing and communal services. I won't reveal any secret if I say that the municipal services of our city are one of the best in the country.
According to many objective indicators, according to which the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan rate us, we are the best. This is the result of the work of many generations of housing and communal complex workers. And today, on the eve of the holiday that we will celebrate on Sunday, March 21, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and gratitude to our industry veterans who went from simple to complex. From the simple – when the wind was blowing in an empty field, an automobile factory was being built – to the complex - today there are 534 thousand inhabitants in Naberezhnye Chelny, the city is larger than some federal subjects, regional cities with the most powerful infrastructure of housing and communal services.
We were the first in Russia among half a million people to install automatic metering devices. Some entities are just implementing all the innovations that we introduced decades ago and are pioneers in many areas. This happened thanks to the efforts of our specialists, all of you, the people who work every day, every hour, every minute. Thanks to you, the uninterrupted functioning of all life support systems of our city is ensured," Nail Magdeev said, wishing everyone success, good health and happiness in family life.
