Anyas Salakhovich Salakhov, who was born in the village, turned 95. Staroe Aimanovo, Aktanyshsky district. Before the Great Patriotic War, he worked in his native village as a school teacher. In 1941 he graduated from the Spassky Pedagogical College. In 1943, he joined the Soviet Army. He began his service on the Trans-Baikal Far Eastern Front, took part in the liberation of Mongolia and Manchuria.
After the war, he continued his service in the Far East with the rank of sergeant. At the regimental school, he trained junior commanders and was a deputy platoon commander. He was demobilized in 1950 and returned to his native village. He got married in 1953. In 1954-1962, he worked as a caretaker at the Berezniki forestry enterprise in Perm Krai. In 1962, he worked in his native village as a salesman. In 1974, he moved to Naberezhnye Chelny and worked as a carpenter at KamGesenergostroy until retirement.
Anyas Salakhovich has raised 3 children, has 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was awarded the medals "For Military Merit", "For Bravery", "For the Victory over Japan", "Order of the Patriotic War II degree", medals for anniversaries.
