3,130 doses of coronavirus vaccines are expected to arrive in Naberezhnye Chelny today. In total, taking into account today 's shipment, 10,855 doses will be delivered to medical institutions in Avtograd. This was announced by the head of the city's health department, Alexander Nikolaev, during a weekly press conference.
Residents are vaccinated against Covid-19 with the Sputnik V drug. Coronavirus vaccination takes place in two stages. The vaccine is designed in such a way that a person must be vaccinated twice.
"As of today, 5,434 people have been vaccinated with the first component, 535 with the second component. Vaccines are received regularly, so it is enough to implement the waiting list, which is available," said Alexander Nikolaev, noting that he himself was vaccinated.
It should be recalled that registration for vaccination against Covid-19 is conducted in territorial polyclinics. From 600 to 800 residents of Naberezhnye Chelny are vaccinated daily.
