Coronavirus vaccination begins today at the Omega Shopping Center. Everyone will be able to get vaccinated daily from 13:00 until 19:00. This was announced by the head of the city's health department, Alexander Nikolaev, during a weekly press conference.
"Everyone over the age of 18 will be able to get vaccinated after a doctor's examination and in the absence of contraindications. Further, depending on the effectiveness , we will consider the possibility of increasing vaccination hours and organizing additional points," said Alexander Nikolaev.
Residents of Naberezhnye Chelny will be vaccinated with the Sputnik V drug. Currently, more than 17 thousand doses of this vaccine have been received in medical institutions in Naberezhnye Chelny.
"As of today , 14,673 people have been vaccinated with the first component, and 9,058 people have been vaccinated with the second component. Active work is underway. Vaccination is as close as possible to the population. It is carried out both at enterprises and in all polyclinics, including on weekends. Registration is possible through the portal of public services, the registry, the unified federal number 122," he explained.Alexander Nikolaev.
It should be noted that currently 1,978 cases of laboratory -confirmed new coronavirus infection have been registered in Naberezhnye Chelny. The indicator is 370.4 per 100,000 population, which is 22.2% lower than the national value.
