The awards ceremony of the theater competition and the award of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan — "Tantana-2021" took place at the G. Kamal Theater in Kazan. The honorary mission to name the winners in each nomination went to the doctors who fought and continue to fight for the health of citizens in the "red" zones.
The role of Viner Fayzullin, an actor of the Gilyazov Naberezhnye Chelny Drama Theater, in the production of "The City of Brezhnev" was recognized as the best debut.
In addition, Elena Sorochaikina, the chief artist of the Russian Drama Theater "Artisans", Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, was awarded the Damir Siraziev Prize for many years of fruitful creative work and a great contribution to the development of theatrical art in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Tantana ceremony was held in Kazan for the tenth time. In total, the organizing committee reviewed 67 applications. The applicants for the award are state, municipal, and private professional theaters of the Republic of Tatarstan and other performing arts organizations. This year, the amount of the award was increased to 100 thousand rubles.
